Nev's Roof Restoration was established in 2001 to fill a void in the Brisbane residential restoration market by providing professional and personal workmanship coupled with honest, friendly customer service.

We at Nev’s Roof Restoration pride ourselves on being ‘professionals you can trust’, providing our customers with a wide range of roof repair and roof restoration services including: metal, tile & fibre roof replacement, restoration, as well as offering the leaf free Gutter Guard.

We are based on the Gold Coast, but we work throughout the greater Brisbane region.

Business Owner

Shannon is the owner of Nev’s Roof Restoration and is involved in almost every part of the business. He manages the day-to-day operations, coordinates the team and scheduling, meets customers onsite for inspections and quotes, and liaises directly with clients throughout their projects.
You’ll also find Shannon onsite with the team most days, working alongside them and getting involved in the work. For us, that’s one of the great things about being a small family business. Shannon isn’t just the person behind the business. He’s right there with the team, seeing the work firsthand and making sure each project is completed to the high standard we pride ourselves on.
Shannon brings a unique background to roofing. He is a qualified architect, has a background in customer service and has spent years working in the building and construction industry, including on commercial properties. His experience gives him a broad understanding of buildings, construction and the practical side of finding the right solution for each roof.
He genuinely enjoys working with people and takes the time to understand what customers need, explain what’s happening with their roof and make the process as straightforward as possible.
And outside of roofing? Shannon is a busy dad, so there’s rarely much downtime! Between running the business, working alongside the team and family life, he certainly keeps busy.
We’re a small team, and we like it that way. The people you meet are the people who care about your project and take pride in the work they do.

Steven, a key founding member, brings extensive expertise to our team, particularly in roofing projects. His primary responsibility involves adding the finishing touch by painting roofs, ensuring that every job is completed to perfection. Steven's wealth of experience ensures top-notch workmanship, and his dedication to client satisfaction shines through as he meticulously oversees the final stages of each project. His role encapsulates a commitment to both craftsmanship and client contentment, cementing his integral place within our team.

Michaela

Business Manager

Michaela is the Business Manager at Nev’s Roof Restoration and is often the first point of contact for our customers.
From responding to online enquiries and helping organise inspections, through to communicating with customers throughout their projects, Michaela helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Michaela has a long-standing connection to Nev’s Roof Restoration. She is Nev’s daughter and Shannon’s wife, so the business has always been a big part of her life. Now working alongside Shannon, she is proud to be helping carry on what her dad started and build the next chapter of the business together.
She loves the personal side of the business and getting to know the customers we work with. As a small family business, those relationships matter, and Michaela takes pride in making sure customers feel informed, looked after and comfortable throughout the process.
For Michaela, good service is about more than just getting the job done. It’s about clear communication, reliability and making sure our customers feel looked after from their first enquiry through to completion.

Jay

Team member

Jay is a valued member of the Nev’s Roof Restoration team and someone we’re really proud to have on board.
He has quickly established himself as a reliable, hardworking member of the crew, with a great attitude and a willingness to take responsibility. Jay has a natural ability to step up onsite, work well with the team and help keep jobs running smoothly.
He is now taking on more responsibility alongside Shannon, helping to lead the team onsite and taking ownership of the work in front of him. His confidence, leadership and knowledge continue to grow, and it’s been fantastic to see him step into this role.
Jay is the kind of team member who gets stuck in, is always willing to learn and can be relied upon to get the job done properly.

James

Team member

James is the newest member of the Nev’s Roof Restoration team and is currently completing his roofing apprenticeship with us.
He has fitted into the team incredibly well and has quickly become a valued member of the crew. James brings a great attitude to work, is reliable, hardworking and always ready to get stuck in. He takes pride in the work he does and is keen to keep building his skills and knowledge within the trade.
As part of his apprenticeship, James works alongside our experienced team each day, gaining valuable hands-on experience across all aspects of roofing. He is supported by a team with decades of combined experience, while also bringing his own enthusiasm and fresh perspective to the job.
We’re really pleased to have James on the team and are proud to be supporting him as he builds his career in roofing. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow and develop as a tradesman.
